Charity Partnership with the Breakfast Club
Story
In April 2018 a charity working group run by staff within NSW Treasury announced a two-year charity partnership with the Breakfast Club run by the Australian Red Cross.
Our goal is to raise $1,000 each year and, importantly, to raise awareness of the Breakfast Club’s great work in delivering a healthy start to the day as well as educating children in disadvantaged areas across New South Wales. More information on the Breakfast Club is available at this link.

NSW Treasury are raising funds for the Breakfast Club with Entertainment™ Membership sales as well as other selected fundraising activities.
The donations received so far have gone to Breakfast Clubs in Northern NSW and going forward will be distributed through other areas of NSW.
As of August 2018, areas that are a focus for Red Cross are the regional areas surrounding Central Western (Dubbo and surrounds) and the parts of the Central Tablelands, that are heavily impacted by the drought.

2 large cereal storage containers | 1 bowl, cup, spoon and toothbrush for a child | 1 set of SuperFood Heroes resources for a child

Breakfast for 1 child, 5 days a week for 1 month

Freight costs to a remote school for 1 term
