Story
Hello friends and family,
We are fundraising for Australian Red Cross.
In our day jobs we make a real difference by;
- Calling older Australians that live at home by themselves to make sure they are OK each morning;
- Finding socially isolated older Australias living either at home or in aged care residences and find visitors for them to improve their wellbeing;
- Looking after the 'Carers' in the community and provide them with support, respite and friendship so they know they are not alone;
- Assisting people who in are danger of losing their private rental housing;
- Supporting parents at risk of post-natal depression, social isolation and multiple birth;
- Supporting people on a low income who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to find affordable housing.
- Providing healthy breakfats at school for children that would otherwise go hungry each day.
We make a difference in our community each and every day and we are asking you to support us in making that difference.
As if our daily work isn't motivation enough for you to dontae to this fantastic organisation, as part of 'Give It Up' week for Red Cross, we will also be giving up our comfy lunch breaks and our daily sugar energy hits, and instead pounding the pavement around Wellington Square each day.
